A Supernatural Political Thriller

While campaigning for a candidate in Iowa, a newlywed, Tessa Gardner, stumbles upon a trunk in an old mansion.  The trunk contains precious items imbued with a supernatural power that catapult Tessa into the command center of the Senator’s campaign.  As she becomes an indispensable part of the national and magical movement to elect this political phenomenon the President, she discovers who the trunk belonged to, the real identity of the mansion’s hostess, and the dark secret the Senator’s staff have been concealing.  But with the Senator poised to be the next president, is there anyone or anything that can help her stop his meteoric but catastrophic rise?
